\"DistinguishedIntroducing the first designated IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Contributors!<\/p>\n

The IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Contributor Program was introduced in 2021 as part of the Society\u2019s 75th Anniversary. The program showcases the immense combined technical expertise and innovation power of its membership while recognizing volunteer commitment.<\/p>\n

In the program\u2019s first year, 66 members who applied were awarded designation. The Society will continue to accept applications for the program on an annual basis, with the new selection round opening in August 2022. Members who meet the minimum length of membership requirements<\/u> are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n
