P3129™
IEEE Standards Association (IEEE SA) invites you to participate in the working group for IEEE P3129™, Standard for Robustness Testing and Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Image Recognition Service.
Why Get Involved?
This standard provides test specifications with a set of indicators for interference and adversarial attacks, which can be used to evaluate the robustness of Artificial Intelligence-based Image Recognition services. It also specifies robustness requirements and establishes an assessment framework to evaluate the robustness of Artificial Intelligence-based Image Recognition services under various settings.
The purpose of this standard is to guide individuals and organizations who provide, develop, or use Artificial Intelligence-based Image Recognition to test and evaluate the service and improve the robustness of the service. It is also applicable to guide third-party evaluation laboratories to test and evaluate the robustness of the service by applying standards-based testing to provide feedback on individual algorithmic implementations.

Special Issue on Hardware Security
The trustworthiness and security of hardware are of paramount importance to full system security, as hardware is the bedrock of all computer systems. Recently discovered vulnerabilities in processors such as Spectre and Meltdown, and emerging trends such as the development and use of open-source hardware and open-source EDA tools, coupled with the use of machine learning and the relentless push towards smaller technology nodes, creates both challenges and opportunities for innovative technologies for enhancing hardware trust and security. This special issue of IEEE Transactions on Computers will explore academic and industrial research on all topics related to hardware security.

IEEE Cluster 2022 Call for Papers
Clusters remain the primary system architecture for building many of today’s rapidly evolving computing infrastructures and are used to solve some of the most complex problems. The challenges to making them scalable, efficient, productive, and increasingly effective requires a community effort in the areas of cluster system design, advancing the capabilities of the software stack, system management, and monitoring, and the design of algorithms, methods, and applications to leverage the overall infrastructure.
Following the successes of previous IEEE Cluster conferences, for IEEE Cluster 2022, which will be held 6 – 9 September 2022 in Heidelberg, Germany, high-quality original work that advances the state-of-the-art in clusters and closely related fields is currently being accepted.
Submission Deadline: 1 March 2022
